What personal data we collect and why we collect it
When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
Our website contact form is used to communicate directly with Reaktiv. It is for customers to submit new inquiries regarding support, or other DPP related questions. A contact form submission may include personal identifying information, as it pertains to the specific customer account. This information is never shared with third parties for marketing purposes.
Contact form submissions are routed through our support platform, HelpScout, which is used to manage customer support tickets, communicate directly with customers, and provide information for troubleshooting technical issues with customers. In order to understand the nature of the technical issue, a customer’s name, email, and web address may be shared with us. This information is never shared with third parties for marketing purposes.
When purchasing a software license for DPP, we collect personal information such as name, mailing address, email address for the purpose of placing an order, establishing a customer account, and maintaining a software license. For the purpose of completing our checkout process, this information is shared with our payment processors, Stripe and PayPal.
If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.
Embedded content from other websites
Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.

Who we share your data with
Genesis Design Pro will never sell, trade or transfer your personally identifiable information to third parties (beyond what is necessary for fulfilling a customer transaction or for the basic functionality of an online service) without your consent.
We do, however, share your transactions and/or financial information with Stripe, PayPal, MailChimp, Helpscout (e.g our third-party payment processors and helpdesk supplier). This data sharing enables them to deliver the products and product support directly to you.
Website analytics data is shared with Google Analytics for performance tracking purposes (https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=en-US).
We may share information with governmental agencies or other companies assisting us in fraud prevention or investigation. We may do so when: (1) permitted or required by law; or, (2) trying to protect against or prevent actual or potential fraud or unauthorized transactions; or, (3) investigating fraud which has already taken place. We do not provide the information to these companies for marketing purposes.
How long we retain your data
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
What rights you have over your data
If you have left comments on this site, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
You have the right to request access to your personal data and to correct, amend, delete, or limit the use of your personal data by emailing us at email@example.com.

How we protect your data
We have implemented appropriate technical and organizational security measures designed to protect the security of any personal information we process. However, please also remember that we cannot guarantee that the internet itself is 100% secure. Although we will do our best to protect your personal information, transmission of personal information to and from our website is at your own risk. You should only access the services within a secure environment.
What data breach procedures we have in place
In the unfortunate event that there is a data security breach and any personally identifiable information is compromised, we may notify you by email (at our sole and absolute discretion) to the last email address you have provided us in the most expedient time reasonable under the circumstances; provided, however, delays in notification may occur while we take necessary measures to determine the scope of the breach and restore reasonable integrity to the system as well as for the legitimate needs of law enforcement if notification would impede a criminal investigation. For the avoidance of doubt, a Breach Notification does NOT constitute an admission by Reaktiv that the breach occurred as a result of malpractice, failure, bad faith or negligence on behalf of Reaktiv or that the breach even occurred in Reaktiv’s systems. From time to time we evaluate new technology for protecting information, and when appropriate, we upgrade our information security systems.
